070 Which is more effective: clear visualization or unwavering faith?

Disciple asks: Venerable Master, which is more effective: clear visualization or unwavering faith?

Venerable Master Bao replies: Of course, unwavering faith is the most effective. If your faith is unwavering, many problems in your spiritual practice can be resolved.

Otherwise, if you only have very clear visualization but lack sufficient faith, bodhicitta (enlightenment mind), and meditative power, the visualization will only become a mere fantasy and will not have any effect.
