Many Vajrayana tantras and scriptures mention that Vajrasattva is the body of the Buddhas. It means that all bodhisattvas are the embodiment of Vajrasattva, and the merits and deeds of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas come together to be Vajrasattva. Vajrasattva is now the Buddha of the Five Directions, and the Buddha of the Five Directions is now the Hundred Buddhas of Civility and Martial Affairs, or the Buddha of Silence or the Buddha of Wrath.
