Salute the Venerable and auspicious Guru Padmasambhava! Pray for the blessings of the Guru! In response to the persuasion of two reincarnated rinpoches who lived by the Dadu River in Malkang Town, they prayed for teachings that would help them in their spiritual practice, which was the origin of this article.

In this teaching, although Master Jimerlingpa did not teach profound Buddhist teachings, he only saw people in their lives killing because of unknown cause and effect…… When all the negative karma and negative consequences are about to ripen and still do not know it, he painstakingly advises people to think more about the four antipathy methods, especially the principle of karmic cause and effect, and encourages them to widely practice all kinds of good karma such as releasing lives, suggesting that a true practitioner should think more and understand: 1. Bodhichitta; 2. Cause and effect; 3. The merits and importance of living alone.

Seeing this, I felt sad, and I remembered that when I lived in the mountains, I advocated the good karma of not killing and releasing life, but now I am seeing cattle and sheep being killed but cannot be saved.

When Shakyamuni Buddha lived in the world, he always advised his disciples to release their lives and not to harm the lives of sentient beings. When the second Buddha Padmasambhava was alive, he also advised not to kill. Atisha, the sages, and other Dharma practitioners all speak of benefiting sentient beings without harming them. Contemplating these teachings creates faith and respect in our hearts, so we should learn these actions and release them often.

Some Mahayana Rinpoches in the snowy region (Tibet) have thoughts that ordinary people cannot understand, and there will be some seemingly strange behaviors, and their dependents will not understand their intentions, and they will imitate their outward behavior, killing living beings, drinking alcohol, and eating meat…… and other improper actions to create negative karma.

The people of Xikang here, with a strong nation, abundant products, and abundant offerings, still prepare meat for feasts or carry dry meat and food to create the karma of killing when they practice the Great Dharma and make pilgrimages. Seeing this, my heart ached as if my heart had been gouged out, and I couldn’t help but say this teaching.

At this point, the Dharma of the last 500 years of the Dharma and the present Dharma period were all focused on appearance and appearance, and only a few people remained who kept the precepts and practiced the Dharma truly, just like the Dharma after the three regions of Kang-Tibet (referring to the former Tibet, the latter Tibet, and the Kham area) were destroyed by robbers, and they were ruined and weakened.

Therefore, one should not leave vows, practice bodhichitta and learn (precepts), do not be a teacher who only looks like a guru, but always live alone in the mountains, continue to practice, first cultivate the ability to save oneself, and then carry out the cause of truly saving sentient beings, and hope that when the disciples of the sun grow up, they will always think about the impermanence of karma, cause and effect, and truly study the Dharma, so that in the future, like the worldly Bodhisattva Ayinshvara, they will transform sentient beings to the Pure Land of Bliss in the West.
