Vajrasattva is a key deity in the purification process in Vajrayana. Through chanting mantras and
visualising the deity, this practice helps to clear negative emotions, karma, and mental
obscurations, thus creating a more conducive environment for advanced practices like the
Guhyasamaja Tantra’s (secret assembly) five stages. Pith instructions are important for tantric
practices. Rigzin Chenpo Rinpoche said in a teaching on the Vajrasattva Practice (April 2025):
“With pith instructions, cultivate the courage of a lion to confront. Do not behave like a dog that
flees from a stone.” (i.e. turn towards the source of thoughts rather than being drawn into them).
金刚萨埵是金刚乘净化修持的核心本尊。通过持诵心咒与观想本尊,此法能清除负面情绪、业力与心识染污,为修习密集金刚续五道次第等深奥法门创造顺缘。窍诀在密法修持中至关重要。仁珍千宝仁波切在2025年4月的金刚萨埵法教开示中说:”依窍诀当具狮子直面烦恼的勇猛,莫效野犬遇石即逃”(即应直面妄念生起之根源,而非随业力流转)。

A Hundred Peaceful and Wrathful Deities is rooted in Tibetan Buddhism, specifically within the Nyingma tradition. These deities are described in the Guhyagarbha Tantra (secret essence; Mahayoga nine-yana system) and represent the 100 peaceful and wrathful aspects of enlightenment, symbolising the transformation of the mind’s negative emotions into wisdom. They are often invoked in advanced practices like Deity Yoga to attain liberation.
百尊寂静忿怒本尊根植于藏传佛教,尤其体现在宁玛派中。这些本尊在《大幻化网续》(秘密精髓;大瑜伽九乘体系)中有描述,代表着证悟的一百个寂静忿怒相,象征着将内心的负面情绪转化为智慧。在诸如本尊瑜伽等高级修行中,人们常常祈请这些本尊来获得解脱。

Guru Rinpoche Inner Attainment Practice involves visualisation, mantra recitation, and meditation to realise enlightened qualities and purify obscurations.
莲花生大士内证修持包括观想、持咒和冥想,以证得证悟功德并净化障碍。

Guru Dragpo (Longsal Nyingpo Lineage) is a wrathful form of Guru Rinpoche radiating wisdom, who is revered for his ability to overcome obstacles and negative influences, offering spiritual protection. He holds a scorpion in his left hand.
莲花生大士(龙萨宁波传承)是莲花生大士的忿怒化身,散发智慧光芒,因其克服障碍和负面影响的能力而备受尊崇,并提供精神保护。他左手握着一只蝎子。

The Medicine Buddha is a revered deity associated with healing, both physical and mental. He is often depicted with a dark blue (lapis lazuli) colour, and his form is a powerful visualisation aid for practitioners seeking relief from suffering.
药师佛是一位备受尊崇的神祇,与身心疗愈相关。他通常被描绘成深蓝色(青金石色),其形象是寻求解脱痛苦的修行者强大的观想辅助。

Tsog is a profound ritual for purifying negative karma, generating merit, repairing broken commitments (samaya), and fulfilling wishes. During the ritual, practitioners present symbolic offerings such as torma to deities, spiritual masters, and protectors.
荟供是净化恶业、积累功德、修复破戒(三昧耶)和实现愿望的深奥仪式。在仪式中,修行者将朵玛等象征性供品献给神祇、上师和护法。

Tsogdag Mahakala is an important protective deity in Tibetan Buddhism. As a form of Mahakala, he serves as a dharma protector. Tsogdag means “Lord of the Assembly” or “Lord of the Gathering. He is typically depicted with a dark blue or black body, multiple arms, fierce expression, and wrathful.
众荟主玛哈嘎拉是藏传佛教中重要的护法神。作为玛哈嘎拉的一种化身,他担任着佛法的护法。众荟主意为“众生之主”或“集会之主”。他通常被描绘成深蓝色或黑色的身体,多臂,表情凶恶,充满愤怒。

Dakini Tsog is important in higher tantric practices. It is the assembly of gurus, monastics, and practitioners on Dakini Day – 25th (of the Tibetan or Agricultural calendar) to offer feasts to deities, protectors and spiritual masters.
空行母荟供在高级密宗修行中非常重要。在空行母日(藏历或农历25日)举行,上师、僧侣和修行者聚集在一起,供奉神祇、护法和精神导师。
